Our Story

ArtLink Inc. was established in 1983 by Wendy L Morrison. Having agents in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary, with Wendy running the Calgary office. The Calgary office evolved to include a full service of Graphic Design and Marketing for a wide variety of clients from Husky Oil, Alpine Canada, Shopping Centres, to non profits and Arts groups for 16 years.

In 1999 ArtLink moved to the country in Spruce View, Alberta where Wendy and her partner Ron Halliday moved to a bare 159 acre property where they lived as contemporary homesteaders. Setting up all utilities and moving a 1000 square foot house, destined to be torn down, from Calgary to the property. Wendy lived her dream of breeding, raising and training 5 Pinto horses. They established the Wall Street Street Ranch as their homestead name and they set up a Tipi retreat with 4 handmade tipis each in their own secluded forest and hosted guests from all over the world. They ran Artlink Tipi Retreat and Wall Street Ranch for 15 years until they moved to the Kootenays in 2013. They now live on a beautiful 5 acre farm in the Kootenays and Wendy brought two of her Pinto horses with her. Wendy was hired in 2013 as a Basin Business Advisor, helping local businesses in the West Kootenays.
